X-eHealth official kick-off

The X-eHealth kick-off meeting was held on the 2nd of September 2020 and conducted by videoconference, due to the pandemic situation that Europe and the world lives nowadays.

Under the motto “Exchanging Electronic Health Records in a common framework”, the meeting was attended by 96 participants, from 23 European countries, who shared fundamental ideas, opinions and recommendations to the success of the project.

The meeting also had the participation of representatives from DG Connect and DG Santé, to discuss topics of the European Interoperability.

Coordinated by Portugal, represented by SPMS, the X-eHealth project wants to contribute to an Europe with integrated health processes in which the health records of every European citizen can be immediately accessed in any Member State.
