2nd X-eHealth Innovation Day close to 300 participants

X-eHealth held the 2nd X-eHealth Innovation Day event on the 26th of October 2022 in a hybrid way: online (via livestreaming) and in-person, at Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon.

The event was characterized by several presentations on the state of the art and the future of the Electronic Health Record Exchange Format, a detailed presentation about the work done in these two years, and several presentations by relevant stakeholders for the European ecosystem.

The winners of the Interoperability Award 2022 were announced. With over 3000 votes online, get to know the winner:

• Unveiling ‘One Health’ at Autonomous Region of Madeira (Portugal) was the official winner of the Interoperability Award, having received the maximum number of votes from the public.

The winners of honourable mentions were awarded by the international jury. Get to know them:

• A National combined Messaging & Data Sharing Infrastructure Framework in Denmark (Denmark) project won 3 honourable mentions: 1. Trust Inspiring; 2. Innovative Excellence; 3. Technical Excellence.
• Portuguese Health Certificates’ Solution (Portugal) project won 1 honourable mention: 4. Following X-eHealth.

The Innovation Day marked the final event of X-eHealth, a coordination and support action that has contributed to raising awareness on the development of a common framework for secure and interoperable exchange of health data.

Coordinated by Portugal, represented by SPMS, X-eHealth’s purpose, over the past two years, was to lay the foundations to advance the integration process of the eHealth services to securely exchange valuable information regarding medical imaging, discharge letters, laboratory results and rare diseases.
